A shared notes system so research findings stop getting lost.
What it was
A nine-person user research team was producing good interview insights and then losing them — scattered across docs, slide decks, and sticky notes with no shared home. The same question got researched twice in one year because nobody could find that the first study had already answered it.
What I did
I designed a shared notes system built around tagging in the moment, not filing after the fact: researchers capture a quote or observation during an interview and tag it by theme, project, and participant as they go, so it's searchable the same day rather than after someone gets around to writing it up. I partnered with two engineers and scoped the first version down hard, shipping a working MVP in six weeks instead of the ninety-day plan on the table.
What changed
A researcher searching an old theme found a finding from a study eighteen months prior and used it to stop a redundant project before it started.
